Mississippi has some great scenery and some great breweries along the way. Be sure you make it a priority to hop in for a round or two.
Fly Llama Brewing, Biloxi: Considering I visited on a Monday night at a random time of the year, this brewery was packed. They don’t have a full bar, but they’ve got more just beers, including seltzers, daiquiris and non-alcoholic drinks. Not far from the beach, this favorite of Biloxi locals didn’t disappoint. While I wouldn’t call it specifically kid-friendly, kids were certainly present. There is no kitchen, but there is a dedicated food truck that while limited, had some delicious options. I drank a Cammy IPA and a Fly-PA IPA (great name), and really enjoyed myself. If you’re cruising the Gulf Coast, be sure to stop in. (Updated 10.26)
